Wellness Guardian ("we", "our", "us") helps users maintain daily wellness check-ins and send alerts to trusted contacts when check-ins are missed.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account Information: email address, authentication data managed by Supabase Auth, optional display name.
- Profile and App Configuration: time zone, reminder time, missed-day alert threshold, monitoring status.
- Check-In Data: check-in timestamps and source (for example: app or notification action).
- Trusted Contact Data: name, relationship, email address (optional), phone number (optional), alert preferences.
- Notification Data: push notification token used for reminder and warning notifications.
- Subscription Data: subscription status and entitlement information via RevenueCat.
- Optional Legacy Vault Data: if enabled in your app build and used by you, category, institution, reference hint, and notes.
- Diagnostics and Security Logs: operational logs and audit events related to app safety workflows.
2. How We Use Data
- Create and secure your account.
- Provide daily check-in reminders.
- Determine missed check-ins and trigger trusted-contact alerts.
- Send email and SMS alerts when configured by you.
- Provide subscription and premium feature access.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and secure our systems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with:
- Supabase (infrastructure and database).
- RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Expo/platform push services (notifications).
- Resend (email delivery).
- Twilio (SMS delivery).
- Your trusted contacts, according to your configured alert settings.
- Authorities when required by law.
4. Tracking and Advertising
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete content or request account deletion, we delete or anonymize data according to our operational and legal requirements.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries different from your residence, depending on our service providers' infrastructure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Update profile and trusted contact information in the app.
- Request account/data deletion by contacting us.
9. Children's Privacy
Wellness Guardian is not directed to children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
